It seems that the purchase of Activision Blizzard has brought the worst of all involved. Both Sony and Microsoft have issued varying communications in order to make the competence and market authority, or CMA for its acronym in English, manage to issue a result in favor of a certain position. Thus, Redmond’s company now accuses PlayStation responsible for blocking Xbox Game Pass on their consoles.
Through a new document, Microsoft now alleges that Sony has chosen to block Xbox Game Pass from PlayStation consoles, and has decided to protect their income from First Party games by selling them at full price, instead of offering them day one in PlayStation Plus. This was what was said about it:
Sony has chosen PlayStation Game Pass, so it is not available in PlayStation. […] Like all games that are available in Game Pass are also available to buy, players will continue to have the possibility of buying Call of Duty in PlayStation. Doing will continue to cost less than buying a new Xbox console.

While Sony continues to argue that the purchase of Blizzard Activision and the possible exclusivity of Call of Duty will be negative for the industry, Microsoft alleges that this will not be the case . On this occasion, those responsible for Xbox not only defend their acquisition, but have pointed out the owners of PlayStation not to offer a similar system of them, and not allow more people to have access to Game Pass by allowing this service to be Available on your platforms.
In related issues, the external CMA its concerns about this purchase. Similarly, Microsoft responds to the criticisms they have received from the British body.
Editor’s note:
It seems that this conflict is reaching ridiculous levels. Accusing Sony not allowing Game Pass to be on PlayStation consoles is not something that should be heard in this case. Sony is right to handle PlayStation Plus and its platforms in the way they want.
