The only known police sketch of the Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer or simply Zodiac is a pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer in America. Between the latest 1960's to the early 1970's, he killed at least five people that have been confirmed, injured two, and claimed to have killed 37 total. Although experts can't link that many killings to the Zodiac killer with the murders around that time, he could be linked to 20–28 unconfirmed murders. Zodiac's murders took place in Northern California, specifically Benicia, Vallejo, Napa County, and San Francisco.

The killer started sending letters to the local Bay Area press taunting them to discover him in which he signed with a Zodiac symbol. Authorities have investigated multiple suspects over the years, and many people have confessed that they are the Zodiac Killer, but to this day, he has never been caught.
